Even if I get the drums I may not be "Record ready" for a while so I will post a drumless.

Also posting a file with empty spot to write bridge part.

Most songs have a bridge these days so I will attempt a bridge for this tune.

Open for others to try writing a bridge as well.

Flac/Wav files

Bridge space with drums

No drum file with bridge space (150bpm)

ok Vince, just remember that it was you who asked for it... ;)

Instead of doing away with a section, I added a new instrumental bridge (read guitar solo, please) at 2:08. It's 8 bars at 75 bpm. It feels as a huge break because I didn't record bass guitar, acoustic guitar or the pad but I'm leaving that for you to do. I added some drums, though... oh, and some piano and a hammond...

Well, I had fun!!! ;)

p.s. Nice drums!!! Hope you get them soon!!!
Oh, and your flac files had some noise in them... :S

Will know by tomorrow if I get the part time J O B or not to pay for the drums.

If I get the job I will be missing in action for at least a week.

As for the song...Once I get real drums I will be redoing my parts to drums (so timing is tight as possible)

So don't wear out on the song and save some fresh riffage for final takes.

As for the bridge part...Solo/instrumental is an option however I may go with vocals. (not sure yet however its nice to have options)

Was wondering what type of noise you are hearing on files. (so I can figure out the cause of it)

I may have rendered the files to loud.

If its hiss that could be coming from my preamp or interface (which may need replacing)

Got the J O B...Will be away from recording computer until Sept 19.

Take a break from song for a week or so until I get back.

Time to window shop for a few new items.

Ive looked at a ton of interfaces and so far for the price I'm liking this little Roland interface.

Roland UA 55 Quad Capture USB 2.0 Audio Interface

Could be a few weeks before getting paid and then ordering online takes a few weeks as well so I'm out of commission for about a month.

Can still record with old gear though.

Being in Nova Scotia I always have to order from Ontario to get the good stuff however sometimes delivery takes a while (if out of stock)

Took forever to get my Yamaha acoustic yet took just days to get my Fender Tele so I never know how long it will take to arrive.

Hopefully a drummer will drop buy and I wont have to be the drummer...Wearing enough hats already I think and would like to have a more seasoned drummer than myself anyway.

Listening to the guitar you added to the song.

It sounds good.

Would love real drummer for this.

Instead of forking out 3 bills on a new interface I'm going to cheap out and go second hand on Kijiji... 8)

This product is a bit dated however I'm still using windows XP on a newish Dual Core computer.

Will offer $50-$75 for it.

M-Audio Firewire 410

4 inputs/10 outputs. High quality DA/AD converters. 24 bit/96kHz. Connects to computer via Firewire 400.

May also look into a decent preamp as well.

This interface has decent reviews for it and is a bit newer than the other one.

Could get this one for $50

M-Audio Fast Track C400
