Hello guys!

I'm all new to this forum, and hope to improve in my general mixing.
I recorded this in a smallish room with less-than-ideal properties. I'd love to hear some feedback on the mix state
as it is now.

The mix is not yet normalized or limited in any way, the song is called" bright lights".

Thank you so much - Greetings Martin

Hey Martin,

Love the song ! Some small "adjustments", I may search some more beater hit in the kick drum, but it's really not bad at all the way it is now...
I don't really can't tell if the song could become better, without really knowing how the original tracks sound like, but they seem like pretty good sounding.
Plus, the seem to very well produced and recorded I must say.
A small comment, would be to give a little more reverb or perhaps delay to the voice to give it a little more texture in my opinion...
Finally, a well done mastering could make it a killer track !

Congrats of the work !

Hope this works for you...
