Hey Everyone,

I organise the music for a radio show on www.rabbitradio.com.au every Saturday @ 4pm - 6pm Australian EST.

I want to have a mixing competition each week and the winner will be played on the show and have their business promoted over the course of the 2 hour show.

At the time of writing this the show airs in 116 hours so I wont have time to organise it.

I will post a multi track of a song I'd like for the show a week in advance and its up to anyone who is interested to post your mix and have it aired on an international internet radio station!

Head to the website to listen in to the show and I will give more details on air!

Good luck to all who enter

I'll probably give it a try later tonight. At least a rough mix should probably be feasible.

Damn, I'm hearing too bad and am much too pooped today to do any decent mixing. :(

This quick mix sounds crappy, but I'm posting it still, so at least it wasn't a complete waste of time. I'll probably continue with it or start from scratch when I'm in better shape again.

Would have been better to have the weekend for mixing. I'm usually extremely exhausted when I get home from work.

  Steffen

I'm not a judge however I like Stomans mix the most so far...The best drum sound out of all the mixes so far.

Not just saying that cause I know him either.

Thanks, Vince, I'm glad you were not too schocked. ;) But the mix isn't great, I know that. It's not much more than a rough mix, and it would take more time and much better ears to make it sound decent.

  Steffen

BTW, I've just done some hasty tweaks. I can't stand harsh guitars, so I got rid of some more of the high frequencies.

The overall loudness is more than I usually prefer, but I know the kids want it loud these days. :)

The mix is still nothing I'd be proud of, but I can't do better at the moment.

  Steffen
