Anyway. I finished a mix from this song couple of days ago, but wanted to live with it for a while. I spent some time getting the changes from verses to choruses rock. This song reminded me quite a lot of AIC's "A Looking In View" so I went with that in mind.

You've nailed it!

Hey Guys! Here's my mix...That third verse was cryin' out for a guitar solo, so I laid one down for fun ;D. I hope I'm not overstepping any boundaries here. It just felt natural to me...Thanks for listening! Peace

I did this mix for fun, but figured I'd throw it in here. File is an m4a/AAC file, so open in a new tab to avoid the Yahoo WebPlayer from destroying it any more than the encoding did.
I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity. During these fits of absolute unconsciousness, I drank - God only knows how often or how much. As a matter of course, my enemies referred the insanity to the drink, rather than the drink to the insanity.

Hey kluczewp

What's the deadline for this? My mix is almost ready but I'll want to live with it for a day or two and make some final tweaks before I submit it.

Hi there, here's my mix:

hello kluczewp
Once you chose a person to mix it, how fast do you need the songs to be mixed?

I'd like to know this as well.

I had to re-upload my mix with a small change, please turn it up as it is unmastered and enjoy.

I had a lot of fun mixing this, the track is unmastered however i did put it through a limiter to raise the level a bit. The limiter hardly did anything to the track as i used it lightly, maybe 2dB gain reduction. If i was chosen to mix the album i would supply my mixes unmastered with headroom for a mastering engineer. If needed i could do the mastering as well as i have experience in mastering as well as mixing but for now here is my mix :)

The track has been made private on my soundcloud so only people on this thread will have the link, i will also delete the track from my soundcloud when someone has been chosen.

Thanks for the opportunity to mix this, its a great track.

Hi there,

What i did with this this song...
- I put a "new" intro on the song
- I speed it up by 0.66..coz i feel that this song is little too "slow"
- My mix style reference is Mr. Andy Wallace work (Avenged ).. I like the dimension, the sound it self, and how he brought the energy.
- I made the kick being distorted, just to give another energy to the sound, and I also put 2 more samples on snare sound.

Ah..coz this is mp3 version..the high freq is not detail like the .wav version.

Here is the file :
