Nice work guys! I'm hearing some really cool things! Make sure you let me know if it's a proper submission or not though!

I'll post more stuff like this in future if everyone's keen? I've got a ton of EPs like this on my hard drive still.

Is definitely a proper submission. I'll try my best to find time for the rest and compile them into one post.

Yes please more haha. It's nice to have something to mix with good vocals and real drums haha. I'll post a real submission when I get back to my home setup.
What's a little blood between the ones we love?

This one went quick. I think it should have been the single.

Here is one mix of mine.....

TonyPizza: Great mix! I don't know if the drums are a little too "metal-trigger" for this music, but it sure sounds good!
Spede: Great as always  ;) - I especially lilke the ballad and how everything fits together in the choruses.
Midas: This mix is very upfront, which is a good thing I guess. I would say that the bass could glue to the other instruments better in the chorus.
JCooper: You got some serios sub-bass going on, but the mix lacks mids and therefore sounds distant. I think you could improve on the overall frequency ballance.
Japancakes: I just imagine your mixes with the kick, snare and toms with more punch and healthy dose of highs and I think they would be really rocking!
BradDark: Some nice comprehensible mixing choices here. The snare sound isn't my favourite of all time, but who am I anyway.....
JeffEstrada: Turned out nice! Everything fits together. Maybe it is a little too hyped overall frequency-wise.

oneforthedrivehome: Thanks for the tracks! I had an excellent time mixing them. It's too bad the band isn't anymore.

All three - I used samples from my own kit. A bottom snare and a kick. The toms and overheads were way better than I was expecting them to be. These mixes are "fake mastered" by me. If there's enough requests, I'll link to the mixes. They're really not that much different - just less loud.

Your stuff is usually spot on and no one else mentioned this so it could be me but I hear all 3 of your mixes extremely distorted like they are was hot.  I do not hear anyone else's mix like this.

-----I figured it out.  I have to turn the web player way down.  Why is that?

Absolutely loving this thread - TonyPizza is killing it so far IMO for the mix of one minute smile (second song)
If the lead guitar melody was a bit more prominent (esp in the chorus & middle 8 ) it would be perfect, but it sounds amazing. Sorry I lack the technical ability to analyse it any better! :)
