Hey good people!
New member here, hailing from Sweden. An amateur/hobby musician that recently discovered that it's great fun and very informative to mix others' stuff. Very glad to find this forum!

Until recently I'd only mixed my own stuff, half heartedly at that because the "next great thing" (ie, my maybe not THAT great new tune) was always more enticing, but after getting back to music after several years and making a few tunes I'm kind of in a slump (mostly because I haven't gotten my soundcard, instruments and mics set up again yet) so I thought I'd practice my mixing skills.

Looking forward to learning new tricks from the other members and giving my take on the songs posted. Been having fun (and trouble) mixing "Blame it on the weather" and will soon upload my mix after listening a couple of times so there's no horrible flaws in there :)

I love it that's there's so many different styles here! I jumped on "Blame it on" because it was the most recent I could find, but looking forward to mixing everything from folk to metal.

The thread he's referring to is here: http://mixoff.org/index.php/topic,372.0.html

You'll see a link in the first post to a .zip file, that has the raw multitracks. Import those into Reaper, or whatever DAW you're using. Let me know if you're having difficulty, you can send me a PM if you want more help.
